Mikyle Louis: It was spinning a lot and the instructions from the skipper was to build a partnership. This is my first CPL and I am trying to pick up advice and information from the senior players. I am super confident in my bowlers abilities to try and defend this total. It's amazing to see friends and family support me here.

Mohammad Amir removed both the openers within the powerplay, while the spinners joined the party later. The pitch was gripping and turning and the spinners made the most of those conditions by taking regular wickets. Kyle Mayers and Wanindu Hasaranga played cameos, but Mikyle Louis stole the show with his rollicking fify towards the end.
