Mackenzie Harvey is a hard-hitting left-handed batsman who was drafted in by the Melbourne Renegades as a replacement player for Aaron Finch for 2017-18 Big Bash season. He failed to get any game but his call-up meant he is rated highly by the franchise and should get an opportunity in the coming season.
Mackenzie is nephew of former Australian cricketer, Ian Harvey. He was picked to represent Cricket Australia against England and Mackenzie made full use of it by scoring a quickfire 59 off just 48 balls.
