Radha Yadav became the first player from Gujarat's domestic side to be picked in the Indian women's cricket team when she got selected for the tour of South Africa in 2018 at a tender age of 17. She is a very crafty left-arm spinner, suited more for the shorter formats and is also a livewire on the field. Brilliant performances in the domestic competitions made it impossible for the selectors to ignore Radha's rise and she made her debut in the shortest format of the game. She also played in the World T20 later that year. Originally from Maharashtra, she shifted base to Baroda in the 2014-15 season and played in a number of competitions including the U19 West Zone tourney, Senior Women's tournament (white-ball cricket) across both formats and the U23 West Zone ODI Cup. At the moment, she is considered a T20 specialist when it comes to Team India but with more maturity, Radha should be able to crack the 50-over format.
