Biography

Son of former West Indies captain, Floyd Reifer, Raymon Reifer is one of those rare cricketers, who started his career as a batting all-rounder but over the years, he's turned into a genuine bowler. Cricket is in Reifer's blood as his father, cousin and uncles have played professional cricket at various levels. Having made his first-class debut for Combined Campuses and Colleges in 2011, Reifer has scored over 2000 runs with the bat and also picked up 159 wickets at an average of 24.81 in 70 matches which gives an inkling of his all-round skills.

The 2016-17 season gave him a break to the Windies Test squad for the home series against England after he put up outstanding performances for Guyana in the domestic circuit. Albeit, the debut didn't come easily for the all-rounder as he had to wait for his share of due. And his dreams were finally realized when Reifer got an opportunity to make his debut against New Zealand in October 2017. He didn't have any eye-catching outing but impressed one and all with his tenacity and courage to fight valiantly. Two years later, Reifer made his white-ball debut for West Indies in the Tri-series in Ireland and icing on the cake was included in the reserves for the World Cup 2019.
