Biography
A hard hitting lower order batsman and a skidding left-arm speedster, Ben Dwarshius plays for Sydney Sixers in the BBL. He debuted for them in 2014 and in his third season in BBL 06, featured in all the 10 games for them with 13 wickets to his name.
A regular member of the NSW second XI, Ben has been regularly plagued by injuries which has forced him to miss a lot of games. Though he was included for the Matador BBQ's One-Day cup for 2016-17 but featured in only the season opener for NSW against Cricket Australia XI.
Despite being the second highest wicket-taker for Sydney Sixers, Ben might not be a sure starter in BBL 07 because of the presence of pacers like Doug Bollinger, Sean Abbott and Daniel Sams.
