Biography
Though Debabrata Das made his first-class debut during the 2012-13 Ranji season, he played just three matches and was not preferred for the longest format of the game for the next season.
However, his aggressive style of play game him the recognition in limited-overs cricket. he continued to play regular for Bengal in the T20 format, while he has been in and out of the side in the List-A format.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) offered him an IPL contract in 2008 and he got a few games in that season. Though he was ignored for the next few editions of the IPL, he came back to KKR in 2012 and he represented them in the next season too. KKR bought him back at the 2014 auctions as well, but he did not get a game.
