Wrist spinners are a unique commodity in Cricket. Finding one from the associate nations is as rare as a Haley's comet. Indian origin Subramanian is a leg-spinner who plays for Hong Kong and is one of the future stars from the country. He was awarded the player of the tournament in the U-16 Elite Cup held in Qatar.
From thereon, there was no stopping for the youngster. He performed well at the U-19 level picking up plenty of wickets and was selected for the Asia Cup Qualifiers in Malaysia 2018.
