Hayley Matthews We are going to bowl first. Did pretty well against Scotland. We have seen the wickets keeping low but it's a fresh wicket today. Hopefully I can get a few out in the middle today. We have a debutant today.
West Indies Women have won the toss and have opted to field
West Indies will be playing in Sharjah for the first time in this comp. They couldn't come to terms with the pitch in Dubai against South Africa where they were handed a 10-wicket loss. This is a tougher pitch to negotiate than Dubai but to be honest, they do have the experience of playing on slowish pitches back home in the Caribbean. Batting has been the problem all tournament.
Both teams are coming here after wins against Scotland but both have lost a game each as well. So the loser will most likely be shown the door as they can only get to 4 points, which may not be enough. The West Indies will play England for the final group stage game, while Bangladesh will take on South Africa and both are tough games.
